Ruby White Tips - Another Beauty from Laura

All I have to say is WOW!  Laura at Ruby White Tips hit it out of the park with this delicate nude holo as far as I'm concerned! Read this post all the way to the end, and you'll enjoy a special discount code just for looking at my blog!

This polish just floored me.  It's almost a one-coater, went on like butter and was opaque in two coats.  As of yet, this beauty is unnamed, so Laura said I could call it Dana! Thank you - I think I will!  This photo was taken with my iPhone 4 and is unedited, other than cropped a bit. Ruby White Tips did not disappoint!

Below is a shot just under my lamp with a daylight bulb:

I hope that you get a chance to try out a polish or two from Ruby White Tips.  I know I am anxious to try more.

I couldn't resist one more shot of this one.  I just love the embellishments on the bottle caps.  It just makes it that much more fun.

Oh - as promised:  If you order from Ruby White Tips, use the code SHOWMEMANIS for a discount of 15% off your entire order, with the exception of a few things - no Batworld.org polish or Hail to the holo, or mystery bags are included in this offer.

This polish was provided for my review.

Have a great week everyone!

Who Loves Enchanted Polish? I Do!!!

Hi everyone!  How are you?  I, for one, am so happy to be back to normal temperatures again!

I absolutely love every polish I have purchased from Enchanted Polish.  I have not been disappointed by any polish sold by Chelsea.  Today, I have for you Enchanted Polish Dime Piece. I am so glad I bought this one!
Here it is photographed under my lamp with a daylight bulb.  Dime Piece is a gorgeous silver holo that applies smoothly and is self-leveling.  It could almost be a one-coater, but I used 2.

And here it is photographed under my brand new OttLite!  I was so excited to get this OttLite at such a great price!  I purchased it from JoAnn Fabric and Craft Stores at the great price of $24.99.  I'm not sure how I feel about the way a holo shows up under it, but it sure is fantastic for showing true color!

I have never been disappointed in an Enchanted Polish.

Do you own any Enchanteds?  Do you love them as much as I do?

Finally emerging from the deep freeze...

Finally emerging from the deep freeze - Anyone in the Midwest knows what I'm talking about. My apologies for starting my blog and then going MIA for a week. We were busy clearing ice and snow and just plain trying to stay warm!

We have a super efficient geothermal groundsource system which was installed several years ago. We were told it's not very effective for heating when temps go below 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Well, we found out they weren't kidding! Add that to a 40-year old house with single pane windows of the same age and what do you get? A system that stays on emergency heat, and doesn't warm the house to over 62 degrees. Unacceptable. So, it's a bit difficult to polish nails when huddled under a blanket!

But, we are emerging from the deep freeze. We are no longer on emergency heat, and I hope to catch up on posting over the weekend.

In the meantime, take a look at these beauties I received in today's mail - all the way from France! I won a giveaway on Christmas Day from a friend there and these pretties arrived today.

I love love love free!!!! How about you?

Happy New Year!!! I'm jumping into the blogging world!

I've fiddled around with the idea of blogging for quite awhile now.  I always come up with an excuse to delay it.  Well, Laura over  at Ruby White Tips was kind enough to send me some polish to review.  Now I have no excuse to delay further!

For my first post, I chose Snowmen do it Right.  It's a beautiful perfect green that dries to a satin finish with no topcoat and has a gorgeous metallic look with topcoat. The bottle is pretty darned cute too! As far as application goes, this polish could have easily been a one-coater, but I chose 2.  It's my first experience with Ruby White Tips, and I hope it's not my last!  I will definitely be trying more of Laura's polishes.

Here it is without topcoat:

And here it is with topcoat:
I love it both ways!  How about you?

Please bear with me as I get my feet wet in the blogging world.  My photos are not edited and were taken with my iPhone 4.  I hope to improve with my photo skills!

Thanks for taking a look.  Have a wonderful 2014!
